Best Moroccan Food in Colorado!
UPDATE: You may once again order alcoholic OR non-alcoholic wine and beer at Casa! It was the only "point" that has deterred some from trying an amazing restaurant. So if you like the 'real deal' with your meal, come on down! Standards as well as Moroccan imported wines and beer . . .

And okay . . . so I haven't actually eaten at EV-ery Moroccan restaurant in Colorado, however I have eaten at quite a few of 'em, and this place kicks 'em in the keester!

All meats are Kosher . . . all fruits and vegetables are organic. The interior decor was recently redone this year and is very rich in both colors and textures. Definitely pleasing to the eye and senses.

Palais Casablanca's Executive Chefs are Seid and Kaoutar, a husband and wife team that is just amazing! I am NOT a fan of lamb . . . but what I eat the most at Casa is the lamb! Between the quality of the meat and Kaoutar's preparation, this is one of the most amazing dishes I've ever eaten . . . as Jim B put it the night of the Shimmy Hafla, it simply MELTs off the bone!

And if you prefer chicken or beef, you can expect the same quality and flavor! As Mari D put it (one of the photographers for Shimmy 2007), the beef brouchette was to just DIE for! And please . . . if you are vegetarian, do not think that you have been left out . . . the Vege M'Hammer is WON-derful as are all the dishes with veggies and/or couscous. And if you order the full meal, you get a bas'tila STUFFED with fruit vs the usual egg/chicken stuffing! And I've actually come to really appreciate the fruit stuffing :-D

There is an enclosed patio area in front of the restaurant that you pass through to enter the main restaurant . . . this is coming 'under construction' as is their website. When this is finished, there will be sofa-style seating around the patio, a well as other 'niceties' for your to enjoy while dining or having a pipe of your favorite Shesha.

And you now have a choice: You may order alcoholic or non-alcoholic wine and beer at Casa once again! Hence the change to this rating :-) - Selayma , posted 08/06/07
