The Ozark Area Community Congress (OACC) is the first and longest-standing bioregional congress on Earth. The first Congress convened in the Ozark hills in 1979. The Congress has agreed to reconvene each year since. There are many workshops on sustainable practices, delicious organic food, and lots of music. It's quite small and calm, a beautiful way to work with people and learn. The gathering is every october, and more recently there is one in march.
